We are a small, family-run lettings agency based in Meanwood, North Leeds. We offer quality rental accommodation to professionals and students and have a range of commercial properties within our portfolio for long-term office and retail clients. 
Unlike some other lettings agencies, our goal isn’t to become big. Because staying small is what makes us unique – it’s been our formula for success since the company was founded back in 1987. 
 
Our setup means we can offer clients the highest level of personal service while remaining affordable. We know each landlord and tenant by name and every property inside out. Whenever you call Linley Properties, you’ll always speak to one of three people who will be familiar with your property. 

Who we are 

John Linley 
Founder 
As well as founding Linley Properties, John is also the Managing Director of our sister company, Linley Builders. John started out as a PE teacher before switching to the building trade – a move which led him to build his own property portfolio. 
 
John is still very much hands-on in the business and has no plans to retire anytime soon. He jumps at the chance to repressurise a boiler or resolve a tricky problem. He often does consultancy work on large building projects and enjoys helping people find their perfect homes. 
 
In his spare time, John coaches junior rugby (he’s a keen rugby fan) and loves spending time with his Rottie, Lottie! 
Jane Judge 
Property & Lettings Manager 
Jane recently joined Linley Properties from the biggest agency nationwide, bringing with her a wealth of experience. She has a keen eye for detail and works tirelessly on all aspects of lettings, liaising with landlords and tenants to help find the right people their ideal homes. 
 
Before embarking on her career in lettings, Jane previously worked as a wine advisor, making her a handy person to know if you like trying fine wines! Jane is a big Leeds United fan, loves going on holiday and adores her fluffy rabbit, Bun. Jane’s also seriously into running and has completed a marathon. 
Lindsay Harrison 
Office Manager 
You could say Lindsay is part of the woodwork! She’s been working at Linley Properties for 13 years, initially as Lettings Manager but now in the capacity of Office Manager for both Linley Properties and Linley Builders. 
 
Lindsay is an expert in all things property and building-related, thanks to her time served at Linley’s. She loves tackling complex problems for landlords and tenants and is also a whizz at Excel; she’s very happy when engrossed in a spreadsheet. 
 
When she’s not working, Lindsay spends most of her time looking after her gorgeous little boy and leading her local Brownie group. She’s also the proud owner of Patch the dog, the office mascot.
